My Supervision Style
My approach to supervision is relational, reflective, and rooted in the psychodynamic tradition — while also integrating other modalities, I have a strong awareness of difference, neurodivergence, and the lived realities of working in complex, often demanding, environments. I am passionate about anti-oppressive, inclusive practice and support supervisees in exploring the systemic, cultural, socio-economic and emotional dynamics that shape our work.
I believe supervision is not just about safeguarding clients, but also about supporting you to grow in confidence, deepen your self-awareness, and feel emotionally held in the work. I invite curiosity, compassion, and challenge in equal measure, and I aim to foster a space where all parts of your experience — personal, professional, embodied, and intuitive — are welcome.
Clinical Supervision
As a fully qualified psychodynamic, relational and trauma informed counsellor, relationship therapist and clinical supervisor, I use an eclectic and pluralistic approach, from a core training in attachment and person centred theories, that enables me to offer you reflective, collaborative and creative ways of working that will hold space for the whole of you, and not just your caseload.
A Supervisor Who Recognises and Understands Difference
As a neurodivergent and disabled woman myself, I not only bring my own lived experience, but also a deep attunement to the specific challenges and strengths that some clients and practitioners may face and are then brought into supervision.
Plus, with a background in training, coaching and mentoring, I am able to provide non-judgemental feedback and an ethically grounded, secure space where you can think deeply about your work, explore parallel process, and reflect on how your own identity and personal experiences meets with your practice. Regardless of whether you are a student, newly qualified counsellor or an experienced therapist looking for additional, support or a more attuned supervisory relationship,
I am here to help.
